We were in Columbus most of the day today for the chiropractor, D's OT and a few other errands. Once we finally made it home, we went to our library to pick up held books and a few other fun books/DVDs, so school today was late...like 4 p.m.! Gotta love it! I've misplaced my camera (or C has "hidden" it)...so no pics today.
Drew finally has a few tricky spelling words this week! Long "a" words with silent "e" like shake, skate, trade, etc. and the word "danger" which breaks the rule a bite. Gotta love our crazy English language! He loves to write them on the small marker board, so that's what he's been doing most days until his "test" at the end of the week.
His science activity today was blowing a marble (Mayflower) across the table (ocean) to a marked place (post-it-note = New World/land) and then doing it again while having me blow sideways to be the "wind" across the ocean. He realized how they could get off course easily with the direction of the wind.
