Well, it's only 2 weeks until our school year begins again. This year we're going to try to begin a lot earlier (1 month earlier) in hopes that we can take a few more days off during the year for various trips & activities. :o)
I bought the kid's school supplies last night, recycling last year's school supplies into their creative tubs on the shelf they use for projects outside of school. I was able to find another turn-about at a garage sale last weekend for $1. It works so well for all the markers, crayons, pencils, scissors, pencil sharpener, etc. We had one last year the kid's shared, but this year I thought they can each have their own. Kate tends to be a bit rough on her crayons & markers. :o)
