Yesterday we read about Johnny Appleseed from this book. D completed this map for his lapbook - coloring the states where Johnny traveled and/or planted trees.
For math, he practiced mapping coordinates to color an apple tree. He LOVED it!
K enjoyed rolling the dice to know what to color on her apple tree.
They both enjoyed the paper apple quilt they had to make using the small picture at the top.

Yum ... the pie looks really good! Grandma and Pap have a granny smith apple tree in the yard and we plan to pick some more apples tomorrow.
