We're just about finished the Lego & Poky Puppy units this week. We have a few finishing touches on the lapbooks to finish sometime this weekend so I don't have complete pics yet...
D LOVED making this mosaic for his building challenge on Thursday. We drew it on graph paper first and then he transferred it to the Lego base with his Lego bricks! I think it took him over an hour to find all the bricks in his big Lego tub. :O) The ghosts & Pacman were similar to one we found online...but the strawberry was done completely on his own (no graph paper pattern). He took these 3 pics on his own...

K created a colors book to go along with the Poky Puppy story on Thursday. She used lots of stickers and matched them to one of the four colors of the color book. In the pic below, she's just two stickers into the project...

On Friday, D finished the Lego copywork, definition and a few math activities with Legos (estimating, making a graph & made a pie chart online). He was also able to download the Lego Digital Design software to play on J's netbook as our desktop is too outdated for the download. ;o) Gotta love forever-changing technology! The software lets kids build with Legos digitally - picking their minifigs (people) and pieces. You have the option to order all of it (of course, good marketing), too!
