C was fussing constantly...I'm guessing she's getting more teeth?! Had a massive diaper explosion which required new clothes & crib bedding. K was dancing around and going potty (needing help with her shorts and turning on/off the water faucet...now that she's got "going potty" down we're working on getting independent using the bathroom...)
We finally began our school day just before 10 a.m.
One of K's activities was making "C's" in liquid soap in a bowl. She liked this and even D wanted to participate when she was done.
Her Bible story was about Abraham obeying God by offering his son Isaac as a sacrifice and then God provided the ram stuck in the bush nearby to be the sacrifice. I ended up using the pictures from D's Bible Story book. K was so sad at the end of the story...she kept pointing to the picture and telling me it was so sad that Abraham was going to sacrifice Isaac.
She then acted out loving a toy (she used her little pink dog) and then loving her Bible saying "I love you Lord, more than anything." Just like Abraham did when God asked him for his son. I loved her bright smile while hugging the Bible and had to take a picture...
His project was to poke holes through the letters of his name (like the name was hiding) then hold it up on bright colored paper to see the letters of the name. D liked this project but we had to go back and make the holes a bit larger as the first holes were tiny.
C was so fussy -she wouldn't even play in her gate this morning so I ended up holding her for most of the school morning. She wanted to grab & reach for EVERYTHING.
While D was completing his math page today, K climbed up to the table and wanted to watch. I told her she could watch and then play with the blocks when D was done. They both ended up playing with the blocks for awhile...
D likes to stack all the blocks up and then fill them in to make a huge block (which ends up being 100 units altogether).
K lining up all the unit blocks - she's getting really good with counting by ones and touching each object and counting them correctly.
